Scope:
- Social Media Design

Role:
- Designer

Objective:
Design social media graphics to promote rent relief initiatives for Latinx, immigrant, and working-class communities of color in New York. The goal was to create visually engaging content aligned with Make the Road NY’s mission and branding.

Challenges:
Incorporating NYC-specific symbolism to visually differentiate Make the Road NY from its sister organizations in other states. Innovatively applying MRNY’s existing brand guidelines to avoid visual overlap with brands like the New York Knicks, which share a similar color palette.

Highlights:
Successfully delivered creative assets that the team was excited about. Saw the designs published across MRNY’s official platforms, amplifying the campaign’s reach and visibility.

Make the Road New York (MRNY) is a grassroots organization that empowers immigrant and working-class communities in New York to achieve dignity and justice through community organizing, legal services, education, and policy advocacy.
